Batch 5 - visiting dad.

I went to visit my dad this afternoon at the Bellavista Care Home in Cardiff Bay. Here dad is sat in the lounge enjoying his dinner.

Then we went to his room where he consults his diary.

Could not resist taking a selfie.

The garden at the Bellavista Care Home.

This gate stops the residents wandering off.

There are 2 entrances into the Bellavista Care Home. This one is at the back, which has a small car park.

Batch 4 - Boxing Day travel

The Kingsway in Newport where at stand K14 National Express coaches arrive and depart.

Sign spotted at Gatwick Airport South Terminal where a Rail Replacement Bus Service was taking place today.

More signage inside the South Terminal building.

A long queue of passengers waiting in line towards the train station even though signs clearly state that no trains are running from Gatwick Airport today.

Although the everyday National Express coaches are leaving from the lower level, the Rail Replacement Bus Service leaves from the upper level.

Obviously passengers for the Rail Replacement Bus Service MUST be in possession of a valid Train Ticket.

National Express coaches on stands 4 and 5 ready for departure from Gatwick Airport South Terminal.

2 National Express drivers take a selfie prior to their departure.

Batch 3 - Charlie the Pug.

Charlie looked up at me and as I was on a rest day, was looking forward to his second walk of the day. All of a sudden he asks in his own way, with his pleading eyes and look, to nag me to put down my Kindle and walk him around our park etc...

Batch 2 - on the phone again.

Yap, yap, yap as she talks on the phone again. Charlie rests but the sound is very distracting.

Batch 1 - my first snaps.

Here are my first photos using my new Kindle Fire...

Although the rear facing camera is 2MP, there is also a front facing camera shooting in VGA. This is okay for taking selfies. I have taken selfies before using a Samsung Galaxy Tablet but that camera reversed the image - what appears on the left of the frame, displays on the right and vice versa. What I like about my Kindle Fire selfies is that they are NOT reversed. The window was on my left in the photo and in real life.

Moving onto the rear facing 2MP camera, here is Charlie the Pug resting in his bed...
