Batch 66 - Caetano Levante III part 2 of 5.

Here are my photos of a new coach on our fleet. It is a Volvo B11R tri-axle coach with the new Caetano Levante III body and is used on the National Express coach network.

New signage for wheelchair access.

This body is longer than the Caetano Levante II body which was 14.2m long and had 56 seats. The Caetano Levante III body is the maximum permitted length of 15.0m and has 59 seats. Interesting to note is the luggage limit of 1,100kgs.

View down the aisle.

The mark 2 model had two seats on the back row and the toilet on the left. This mark 3 model has three seats on the back row and the toilet is on the right.

Similar sliding door on the toilet.

Changed and inset emergency door handle on the mark 3 model.

The toilet on the mark 3 model is smaller than on the mark 2 because the back row has 3 rather than 2 seats.

Batch 65 Caetano Levante III - part 1 of 5.

This box supports the wheelchair lift when it is deployed, it has a warning sign telling drivers NOT to step on this box - something drivers may do to reach the air vents above the driver's seat.

Lots of switches to use on the left hand side of the dashboard.

Headlight switch is still on the right hand side.

Different positions for the sunblind and cab window switches.

New signage for wheelchair access.
